Some of my Favourite Budget Beauty Buys

I love a bargain.

I also like to make a cheeky little beauty purchase at least once a week.

I thought I'd share with you some of my budget beauty buys that I come back to time and time again, and some recent finds too.

Post on premium beauty to follow :)

First up from Nivea is this toner from their pure and natural range. For the price I think this product is excellent. My skin can be very temperamental and this has never made me break out or caused any sensitivity at all. Plus it seems to last for ages. I normally buy it when its on offer in Boots. The cleanser that goes with the range is just as good, have bought it loads of times but have currently run out of it hence the picture of the toner only.

Lee Stafford Poker Straight Shine Serum Review

I have long hair which is highlighted regularly and I swear by this product; Lee Stafford Poker Straight Shine Serum. I use a couple of drops when my hair is damp and then another couple of drops once its dry. I literally cannot live without hair serum, for me its the difference between frizz ball hair and a sleek & shiny mane. This serum is light, non greasy and a little goes a long way!

Organic Surge review

Currently HALF PRICE in my local Waitrose is the Organic Surge range. I love the smell of all of their products. They are so kind and gentle on the skin as they are free from any harsh chemicals. If you suffer with problem skin like I do I recommend looking at what you use in the shower or bath as it does have a real effect on your skin.

Colour Riche nail polishes by L'Oreal Paris review

I recently discovered these Colour Riche nail polishes by L'Oreal Paris while in boots and I was very surprised by how good they are, the colour and coverage is excellent and the polish lasted longer than any other brand I have used in recent years. They come in a brilliant range of colours too.

phenomen oil by Jessica In John Lewis

It was recommended to me that I use a nail oil to treat dry and cracked nails so I picked up phenomen oil by Jessica In John Lewis and have not looked back since. It really does improve the condition of your nails and cuticles. I love this product, it smells divine and works just as well on dry skin areas like knuckles and elbows. This is not strictly a budget product but it lasts forever and in terms of nail oils its one of the least expensive I've found.

Original Source Shower Gel

Original Source Shower Gel; kind to skin, smells good and it's cheap. Enough said.

Boots 17 Shimmer Brick reviews

Boots 17 Shimmer Brick; as good as the premium branded versions at a fraction of the price. Have used it as eye-shadow too with great results.

Last but not least; good old exfoliating gloves. Great for getting your body ready for summer/holiday. Saves on expensive exfoliators or if you have run out of exfoliator. Cheap as chips.

What are your favourite budget beauty buys?
